Used Battery Recycling Obligations

In accordance with Article 64 of the relevant regulations, you are required to separately collect used batteries. They must not be mixed with household waste or other types of batteries and must be delivered to designated recycling channels to ensure proper treatment and recycling.

Recycling Channels & Disposal Methods

Used batteries should be recycled at collection points.

Collected batteries will undergo pretreatment for reuse or alternative applications, followed by environmentally sound disposal and resource recovery.

  2. Store used batteries separately in a sealed container (e.g., a plastic container) to prevent electrolyte leakage.
  3. The battery may pose a fire or explosion risk if crushed, impacted, exposed to high temperatures, or subjected to moisture.
  4. Store used batteries in a cool, dry place away from flammable materials.
  5. Do not disassemble, strike, puncture, incinerate, or bury used batteries to prevent safety incidents.
  6. Keep used batteries out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion. If swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.
  7. Do not dispose of used batteries in household waste. Deliver them to designated recycling points as soon as possible.
