Smart Retail /Electronic Shelf Labels

I. Working Modes of Electronic Shelf Labels

• Normal sleep mode (99% of the time): Only RTC and low-power MCU remain on standby, operating at μA-level (1–10μA) micro current with extremely low long-term power consumption.

• Instant pulse discharge (screen refresh / communication): For price updates, wireless connection (Bluetooth / 2.4G) and screen driving, it requires mA-level (10–50mA) high-current pulses with millisecond duration.

• Long-term maintenance-free: Suitable for mass deployment in supermarkets and retail stores, featuring a service life of 5–10 years to reduce battery replacement costs.

• Adaptable to complex environments: Applicable to normal temperature areas, cold chain environments (0℃ ~ -20℃) and humid shelves; stable operation within -30℃ ~ +60℃, with condensation and corrosion resistance.

II. Mandatory Battery Performance Specifications

  1. Ultra-low self-discharge: Annual self-discharge rate <3%, shelf life ≥ 10 years, ensuring 5–8 years of stable in-service use.
  2. Stable 3.0V voltage: Continuous steady voltage output between 2.7V–3.3V, preventing screen flickering, communication failure and refresh abnormality caused by low voltage.
  3. Dual adaptation for micro current & pulse output: Supports μA-level static standby and mA-level pulse discharge; low internal resistance (≤20Ω) to avoid voltage drop and device restart during pulse output.
  4. Wide temperature range operation: Stable power output at -30℃ ~ +60℃, fully compatible with cold chain, normal temperature and high-temperature shelf environments in summer.
  5. Leak-proof & high safety: Adopts stable lithium-manganese dioxide chemical system. No corrosion on mainboards and contact points after long-term installation, with zero liquid leakage and battery bulging.

Our batteries perfectly meet the core demands of retail scenarios, including long-term unattended operation, frequent screen refreshing and harsh complex application environments.
